Boyle has 3 doctors, 1 denturist and 1 chiropractor.

The Boyle Healthcare Centre is a 20 bed accredited facility, (19 acute care beds and 1 palliative care bed) serving the community since 1966. The healthcare centre employs a team of health care professionals and support staff in the following departments: Administration, Admitting, Central Supply, Food Services, Health Records, Housekeeping, Lab, Laundry, Nursing Unit, Maintenance, Nutrition Services, Pharmacy and X-ray.

SAFETY SERVICES

Boyle has an RCMP detachment, a Community Peace Officer shared with the county, and a Provincial Sheriff’s Detachment. Fire protection is provided by a volunteer department and 2 vehicles.

EDUCATION

In addition the Athabasca University "Canada's Leader in Online and Distance Education" offers a wide variety of programs, as well Portage College located in Lac La Biche offers a wide variety of programing and community based Northern Lakes College has a campus convenientlly located in Athabasca.
