We have a number of projects already under way and more in the planning stages:

  1. 8 more pipelines Ft McMurray to Ft Saskatchewan expected over next 5 years
  2. Proposed 19 Lot Prosperity Industrial Park.
  3. Corridor Pipeline (capacity upgrade, $600M) (announced)
  4. Access Pipeline, Devon Energy/Meg Energy (30” line $200M) (announced)
  5. Provincial Funding approved $26 million for NEW Regional Water Line from Boyle to Wandering River via Grassland. Announced June 10, 2010
  6. CN Rail completes upgrade to Ft McMurray in 2010
  7. Aspen Regional Business Park, 80 acres, 11 lots, 4 sold; 1 km N of Boyle
  8. Regional water pipeline Colinton to Boyle and Water Treatment Plant, Completed September 2009 and Commissioning Nov 2009 (November 26, 2009 News Release) Grand Opening Oct 15, 2010 at Water Treatment Plant.
  9. Al-Pac completes $40M ‘wood room’ modernization (2007)
  10. A&B Oilfield new office/shop & yard Hwy 55 and Al-Pac connector
  11. Boyle Co-op Grocery 14,000 sq. ft. store opened Oct ‘07
  12. Enbridge 400+ man camp for Forty Hills Pipeline, 2011
  13. Gateway Estates - 27 lot Country Residential development.
  14. New Ball diamond & parking lot.
  15. 27 stall RV Park, water & power - Boyle RV Park open April 15 to October 15, $15.00/day,

  17. Annexation approved Sept 10, 2010 of 5 quarter sections for industrial/commercial growth.

  20. $3.5 Million BCF-CC, RInC and MCFP Grants,  Major Energy Efficient Upgrades for the Millview Recreation Complex (Arena) and Boyle Community Centre.  Grant Information
  21. Williams Energy begins 12 inch pipeline from Fort McMurray to Redwater with 1500 man camp Sept. 18, 2010.
  22. New Development - Commercial Building Downtown.
  23. Portage College CAP-SITE Boyle School March 2010. Portage College has established a Heavy Training Center - College Campus for Boyle.
  24. Hwy 63 Twinning Functional Plan Open House May 4th, 2010 at Boyle Community Centre. "Final plan of Hwy 63 Twinning Open House September 15, 2010."
  25. Associated Ambulance purchased commercial property in Boyle, Hwy 831 & 663 for Regional Ambulance Hub to serve Counties of Athabasca, Lac La Biche, Thorhild and all urban centres including Hwy 63.  Construction on new Ambulance Station and upgrades offices to be completed Dec 2010.
  26. New Industrial development "Rail Oriented Heavy Industrial" started June 2010.  North side of Boyle along CN Rail.
  27. Boyle Employment Centre opened July 2010.
